Andrew A. Michel , M.D.

Dr. Michel is pleased to be joining colleagues at the Psychiatry Clinic of Hillsboro Village beginning Oct 2, 2007.  Dr. Michel received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and then attended medical school at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.  He went on to complete his residency training at Harvard Longwood in Boston, MA.  He served as chief resident of the outpatient department of psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center during his final year of training.  His style of practice is relational in nature, including supportive and insight-oriented therapy as well as the use of medication when indicated.  Dr. Michel is familiar with caring for those suffering with a range of conditions affecting adults including depression, anxiety, and others.  His office hours will be on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons weekly.
